Elementals

The elementals—the invisible forces that shape our personality

Every thought, emotion, or desire we express gives rise to a living form of subtle energy called an elemental. These entities, invisible to the physical eye, are alive, active, and extremely influential, constantly shaping our behavior, states, and destiny. They are created consciously or unconsciously through the intensity of our emotions and the clarity of our thoughts and remain active until they fulfill their purpose or are de-energized through conscious detachment.

Over time, these elementals accumulate and organize themselves within us, forming what we call the personal subconscious. The subconscious is not an abstract area but is essentially the totality of the elementals we have created throughout our lives through the repetition of our patterns of thought, reaction, and behavior.

There are two main categories of elementals:

  • emotional-thought elementals (created mainly from emotions such as anger, fear, jealousy), and
  • thought-emotional elementals (created through clear intentions and coherent reasoning, which are stronger and more durable).

An elemental is like an energetic “garment” that we wear in our invisible bodies—the psychic body and the noetic body. Just as we clothe our physical body with visible garments, we “clothe” our inner bodies with these invisible forces. Over time, these can become angelic helpers or the burden of inner demons, depending on their nature and vibration. Repeating destructive emotions creates groups of negative elementals that can come to dominate the personality, causing emotional imbalances, illness, and suffering.

However, the same mechanism can work in our favor. Positive elementals, born of love, compassion, and pure intention, illuminate the personality and strengthen the connection with the Divine Self. Awareness, breathing, introspection, and gentle detachment are the ways in which we can cleanse the subconscious of harmful elementals and build Shields of Light—energetic protectors that defend us and our loved ones.

Therefore, we should stop questioning why certain repetitive states dominate our lives. These are manifestations of the elementals we have nurtured. If we want genuine change, we must become aware of these forces, understand their nature, and begin to transform them. In this work, we move step by step towards our true identity: spiritual beings clothed in light—not the automatic shadows of our subconscious.
